A total of 390 beneficiaries from various municipalities and cities in the province received payouts under the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program during an event held at the Provincial Capitol on Thursday, June 18, 2026.
Each beneficiary received ₱3,000 in financial assistance to help meet their daily needs and cope with the challenges they are facing.
Mr. Ronan Bahian expressed his gratitude to the provincial government under the leadership of Gov. Juliette Uy for bringing services that have helped address their everyday needs.
The activity was a joint effort of the provincial government under Governor Uy’s leadership together with the ABAMIN Partylist and the Department of Social Welfare and Development Region X.
“Nagpasalamat kita sa DSWD Region X ug sa ABAMIN Partylist sa ilang padayon nga suporta ug pakigpagtimbayayong aron madala ang mga programa ug serbisyo ngadto atong katawhan,” Uy said.
ABAMIN Partylist is represented during the occasion by Rep. Maximo Rodriguez Jr. and his former chief of staff, now incumbent Cagayan de Oro City Councilor Maximo “Jonjon” Rodriguez III.
It may be recalled that AICS is a program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development that provides financial and other forms of assistance to individuals and families affected by crises and hardships.
The Uy administration remains committed to delivering programs and services that provide direct benefits to the people of Misamis Oriental.
