Governor Juliette Uy of Misamis Oriental has been elected as the Chairperson of the Social Development Committee of the Regional Development Council (RDC). This appointment was made during the Reorganization Meeting held on August 11, 2025, where local chief executives from across Region 10 gathered to select committee officers.

The meeting was led by Regional Director Mylah Faye Aurora Cariño of the Department of Economic, Planning and Development. As a seasoned politician, Governor Uy has previously served as the representative of Misamis Oriental’s 2nd district from 2013 to 2022. Her leadership experience and commitment to public service have been instrumental in driving development initiatives in the province.
