The second Lady Governor of Misamis Oriental has pledged to be the Mother To All Misamisnons.

Incoming Misamis Oriental Governor Juliette Tiu Uy will serve as the 24th local chief executive of Misamis Oriental and the second lady governor after Governor Ruthie de Lara – Guingona.
This early, Governor Uy has called to shy away discord, regardless of political alignments, of any color in local politics, and pushed for unity as weapon for progress and prosperity.

She will be an ally, a friend, a mother to all.

The incoming lady Governor firmly believes that political leaders must be considered an ally of the majority of people they represent within their electorate and, essentially, an ally of the standards and values their party claims to uphold.

Governor Uy sees her call for unity amid diversity will serve as the pecursor for economic progress, healthcare, quality education and environmental sustainability in the province anchored on the tagline ‘Bangon Misamis Oriental’.

She will be using a vehicle of inclusive leadership, well-focused on the roadmap to prosperity, way forward to good and effective governance.

Public service is not alien to the incoming lady Governor. She served as Representative of the 2nd district of Misamis Oriental for the period 2013-2022, her stint was centered on community welfare, women empowerment and gender development.

Governor Uy vowed to bring an equitable brand of governance to Misamis Oriental, as well as formulate and implement polished public programs and projects.

Governor Uy’s platform centers on inclusive development, equitable governance, and sustainable progress for Misamis Oriental.

She pledged to ensure that aid and programs reach all residents, regardless of political affiliation.

She aims to end favoritism and promote fairness in the allocation of resources.

Building on her previous legislative efforts, Governor Uy plans to expand health care facilities and services across the province.

This includes ensuring the establishment of more hospitals and healthcare centers to address the medical needs of underserved communities.

The lady Governor advocates in reducing dependency on government aid by implementing programs that promote self-sufficiency and livelihood opportunities.

She aims to empower residents through skills training, job creation, and support for local businesses.

She vowed to lead with integrity and transparency, rejecting money politics and patronage systems, emphasizing on the importance of issue-based leadership and accountability in governance.

Governor Uy plans to prioritize infrastructure projects that enhance connectivity, improve public utilities, and boost economic growth in Misamis Oriental.

Her focus will be on projects that benefit rural and urban areas alike.
