EXPERIENCE eating noodles the way it should be – by choosing the flavors, the toppings and cooking it yourself at a cool conducive and comfortable place. This can now be done here in CDO with the opening of Fred’s Ramyun!
Introducing the exciting fusion of self-service ramen and tantalizing Korean cuisine!
Located at MJ Food Park in Regatta Square, Pueblo de Oro Grounds, Fred’s Ramyun is easy to drop by since it is in a prime location.
Once you’re here, you need to choose from any of the 24 ramen variants that can range from mild to spicy, from beef to veggie flavors. Then choose any of the following toppings: beef samgyeopsal, fish tofu, mushroom balls, cheese, pork samgyeopsal, cheesy fish tofu, egg, kimchi, luncheon meat, lobster ball, bean sprouts, corn, dumplings, fishcake, shiitake mushroom, gim, sausage, crabsticks, enoki mushroom or spring onions. Then pay at the counter. And go to the induction stove bar where you wait for your noodles to cook. Enjoy eating!
If noodles are not your thing, there are also other sumptuous Korean foods that you can order here in Fred’s Ramyun ranging from rice bowls (beef bulgogi, deyuk deopbap, bibimbap, ojingeo deopbap, kimchi rice with egg) to side dishes (japchae, kimbap, tteokbokki, egg roll, kimchi, buchujeon, kimchijeon).
Also available at Fred’s Ramyun are a wide range of Korean-inspired drinks and frozen delights!
The name of the restaurant took off from Fred, the lolo of the owners who are now his granddaughters. Fred, a retired Army colonel who hails from Pampanga (the culinary capital of the country) must indeed be very proud of his granddaughters.
Fred’s Ramyun is open Sundays to Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and from Fridays to Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight. They accept orders via Maxim too but for an immersive experience, I would highly recommend coming here!
