In a major move to elevate local cardiac care awareness, Singapore’s renowned medical facility Asian Heart and Vascular Centre (AHVC) is set to host a special public health forum titled, “Redefining Heart Care: State-of-the-Art Solutions for Today’s Patients.”

With the event just around the corner, organizers have announced that registration is nearing full capacity, with only a limited number of slots remaining.

The forum aims to bridge the gap between global medical innovation and local patient care. Attendees will have the rare opportunity to hear from two of Asia’s preeminent cardiologists as they demystify the latest breakthroughs in heart health:

Dr. Edgar Tay (Interventional Cardiologist): Presenting “Beyond Bypass,” Dr. Tay will discuss how cutting-edge, minimally invasive treatments for structural heart disease are now providing patients with superior outcomes and significantly faster recovery times, often bypassing the need for traditional open-heart surgery.

Dr. Pipin Kojodjojo (Electrophysiologist): In his session, “Tackling Atrial Fibrillation,” Dr. Kojodjojo will provide expert clarity on heart rhythm management, addressing a condition that affects 60 million people worldwide but remains one of the most misunderstood challenges in modern cardiology.
