Manila, Philippines — Silka, one of the country’s most trusted skincare brands for over two decades, proudly announces Dana Alexa Cada from Oriental Mindoro as the newly crowned Binibining Silka 2025. Known for championing the power of “Alaga”, Silka continues to uphold its advocacy through this year’s pageant, themed “Confidence Begins with Alaga.”
The Binibining Silka 2025 journey began with nationwide regional go-sees, gathering inspiring Filipinas who exemplified Silka’s brand values.
Pre-Pageant Activities
The candidates participated in Pasarela Training with the very talented Pasarela trainer, Joshua Fernando “Shuvia”, and a Q&A workshop with former Binibining Silka 2018 1st-runner up and Miss Philippines Earth 2020, Roxie Smith, on November 20, focusing on stage confidence and communication.
On November 21, they visited the Plaridel Plant to observe the manufacturing of the country’s No. 1 beauty bar soap and experienced product packing firsthand. The day ended with pampering sessions sponsored by Avignon Clinic, Glam Lab Salon, Posh Nails, and Thai Royale Spa.
A newly introduced Online Skincare Challenge allowed contestants to share their routines and advocacies through Facebook video content.

During the final Q&A, Dana responded to the question:
“If you could be remembered for one thing only, what would it be?”
Her answer:
“I want to be remembered as a Binibining Silka who inspires others to care for their overall well-being — not just to nurture your body, but also to nurture your mind and your soul.”
Dana Alexa Cada brought home ₱600,000 worth of prizes, including ₱500,000 cash, Silka product packages, a year-long ambassadorship, Thai Royale GCs, Strokes products, Avignon GCs, and Biogenic Alcohol supplies.
Her sincerity stood out, securing her the title and a ₱300,000 donation from Silka to the Duyan Program of Project Red Ribbon in support of children with HIV.
