THE cities of San Juan led by Mayor Francis Zamora, and El Salvador City, led by Mayor Edgar Lignes, officially sealed a Sisterhood Agreement during a ceremony held at the El Salvador Theater in El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental, on Wednesday, July 29, this year.
According to San Juan City Mayor Zamora, as President of the Philippine League of Mayors, he hopes to bring El Salvador City’s products to the country’s capital and further promote the city’s various initiatives, including its tourism industry.
The agreement also aims to strengthen cooperation between the two cities to help foster their mutual growth and development.
Upon Mayor Zamora’s arrival, he was warmly welcomed by city employees, candidates of the Miss El Salvador pageant, and other local officials.
