CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — Councilor-elect Gilda “Gigi” Go formally unveiled the 12 official candidates for the 60th Miss Cagayan de Oro 2025, marking the Diamond Year of the city’s longest-running and most celebrated beauty pageant.
Presented during a ceremony at Centrio Ayala Mall on June 12, the candidates represent the diverse beauty, intelligence, and advocacy of young Kagay-anon women. Each one brings with her a unique story and purpose, highlighting this year’s theme of empowerment and civic pride.

Charlaine Shrose Batobato – Brgy. Gusa

Councilor-elect Gigi Go, who chairs the committee on tourism and sister cities, continues to lead the pageant with her passion for youth development, women empowerment, and cultural promotion. She emphasized that Miss Cagayan de Oro is more than a pageant—it’s a platform that helps shape future leaders and advocates in the community.
The candidates will participate in various pre-pageant activities including personality development training, tourism promotions, and community engagement initiatives, culminating in the coronation night this August during the city’s charter celebration and the Kagay-an Festival.
