The festivities were further enriched by the presentation of twelve charming candidates for Miss CDO 2025 @ Ayala Centrio Mall,setting a vibrant tone for both cultural celebration and National Pride.
The event was officiated by newly elected City Councilor Gigi Go an active chairwoman of Miss CDO and member of the City Tourism Council, whose presence lifted the importance of community involvement in such pageantry. As members of the press and media engaged with the candidates, they assessed their wit and prowess through various questions aimed at uncovering their personalities and aspirations. This impromtu exchange not only entertained the audience but also served to elevate public interest in local governance and social issues.

The selection of the “Darling of the Press” was indicative of a broader societal appreciation for individuals who embody both grace and substance.Which in return foster community spirit while celebrating diversity, thereby enhancing city pride during this pivotal National holiday.The Darling of the Press will be awarded at the Coronation Night August of this year.
