DAVAO CITY — The Municipality of Buadiposo-Buntong continues to make significant strides in good governance and public health as its delegation successfully participated in the Executive Leadership Evidence-Based Decision-Making (EBDM) Workshop held from June 24 to 26, 2026, at the Dusit Thani Hotel in Davao City.

The three-day executive workshop equipped local government leaders with advanced strategies in evidence-based policymaking, empowering them to make informed decisions that will further enhance public service delivery and sustainable community development.

The capacity-building program was made possible through the strong partnership of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), KOICA, and the BRIGHT BARMM Program, reaffirming their shared commitment to strengthening local governance across the Bangsamoro region.

Adding to this milestone, the Municipality of Buadiposo-Buntong proudly secured 3rd Place in the Municipality/Component City Category during the 2024 LGU Health Scorecard Awards, a prestigious recognition of the municipality’s outstanding performance in achieving key health indicators.

The award was proudly received by Hon. Noron G. Dadayan, JD, Municipal Mayor, together with Dr. Johaina R. Benito, symbolizing the local government’s steadfast commitment to building a stronger, more responsive, and people-centered healthcare system.

This remarkable achievement reflects the dedication of the municipal leadership, healthcare workers, partner agencies, and the people of Buadiposo-Buntong in advancing quality healthcare, accountable governance, and inclusive development.
