Cagayan de Oro City- The much-anticipated return of the National Pageant of Bb. Silka 2025 has exuded excitement among aspiring beauty queens across Northern Mindanao. After a brief hiatus, this prestigious event has resumed, showcasing the talent and charisma of 21 lovely candidates who participated in the initial screening held at Mallberry Suites. The pageant not only showcased beauty but also celebrates cultural diversity but also inspiring women.
This year’s screening attracted participants from various regions, including Caraga, Bukidnon, Zamboanga, and Misamis Oriental. The diverse backgrounds of these contestants bring a rich tapestry of culture to the competition. Notably, some candidates have already earned titles in local pageantry, enhancing the level of competition. Among them is a reigning runner-up from Miss Cagayan De Oro 2025, whose experience adds to her appeal as a strong contender for the Bb. Silka crown.

The initial screening process was rigorous yet fair, with only ten candidates making it through to the next round. This intese selection ensures that only those who truly embody the spirit of Bb. Silka advance further in the competition. Led by Senior Marketing Specialist Haselene Magboo along with Natiional Silka Management Team and organized by Inhouse Silka pageant director for Northern Mindanao Jessryl Torres from Zamboanga City, the screening committee meticulously evaluated each contestant’s poise, confidence, and overall presentation.
The hopeful candidates arrived at Mallberry Suites ready to showcase their best selves. Each participant brought unique qualities that set them apart—whether it be their eloquence in speaking or their striking presence on stage. This dream reflects not just personal ambition but also a commitment to representing their communities with pride as they vie for this esteemed title in the nationals
The return of Bb. Silka emphasized an important moment for aspiring beauty queens in Northern Mindanao as they seek to inspire others through their journeys. With talented individuals competing for just ten spots after an intense selection process, this year’s pageant promises to be a celebration of beauty and empowerment that will resonate throughout the region and whole national Miss Silka pageantry.
