Another Cagayan de Oro’s pride Nikki De Moura wins Miss Grand Philippines 2023

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – The City of Golden Friendship is just lucky the first ever holding of Miss Grand Philippines beauty pageant is won by this city’s pride – Nikki De Moura.

Yes! You heard it right. This year’s winner of Miss Grand Philippines is a pretty and gorgeous lass from Cagayan de Oro City!

Miss De Moura bested 29 other hopefuls of the crown in a jampacked venue at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City yesterday, July 13, 2023.

Aside from getting the first ever historic crown, she also grabbed three more minor awards including Miss Photogenic, Miss Bench and Miss Philipine Airlines.

Controversial actress Herlene “Hipon” Budol of Angono Rizal and Michelle Arceo of Bagumbayan, Quezon City also got the Michelle Arceo of Bagumbayan, Quezon City and Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas respectively.

Shanon Tampon of Caloocan City and Charie Sergio of Caluya, Antique as first and second runner-up respectively.

The holder of the first Miss Grand Philippines franchise was Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. However, it was learned that BPCI did not renew its contract.
