MANILA — As the election fever gets high and nearer to election day, one party-list stands out, bursting with fire of hope for the thousands of its constituents — the security sector — nationwide.
Alliance of Certified Enforcers (ACE) Party-List Founding Chairman and Ist Nominee Officer Erwin Culanag aired this awakening outlook as it marks the beginning of a season of hope in the way how the country’s security sector would be able to embrace transformative changes.
Based on the findings, the country’s security guards encounter some problems at work: verbal abuse, theft, discrimination, low salary, benefits, etc. Therefore, ACE Party-List recommends that employers make amendments to employee policies and salaries to maintain a positive working environment.
Security guards play a vital role in ensuring the safety of people, establishments, properties, and other things or assets that have a significant value and, therefore, have to be protected. Considering the difficulties in fulfilling their duties and responsibilities, good working conditions would be very helpful to keep them motivated and give their best at work.
