Abbey’s Desserts – baking with love since 2019

ONE of the most talented pastry chefs in Cagayan de Oro has carved her way into sweet success with the launch of Abbey’s Desserts in 2019. Through these years and into the home-based days of the pandemic, her desserts have been favored by Kagay-anons especially those living around Gran Europa because of their unique authentic tastes.

Jhing (we withhold her last name for personal privacy) was an established pastry chef in Dubai and Qatar for almost two decades when family priorities made her go back to her beloved hometown. Bored as a stay at home mom to two children, Jhing decided to continue her craft and Abbey’s Desserts was born, named after her daughter.

Today, Abbey’s Desserts offers the following: regular pastries (cinnamon roll, custard roll, raisin roll, French butter croissant, chicken toasted siopao, flower melted cheese brioche, pizza); mini savory bites (mini butter croissant, mini beef burger, mini tuna bunwiches, mini sausage roll, mini chicken empanada, mini cheese fatayer, mini cup pepperoni cheese, mini cup pasta salad, shrimp bruschetta); cup cakes (Nutella, banana, chocolate, choco chips, tres leches, ube, carrots, vanilla, red velvet, pandan, vanilla caramel);

mini desserts per trays (cheese bar, brownies, caramel bar, Chantilly bar, cassava cake, ube tart, red velvet bites, carrots square, verrines cup cheese cake); regular and customized cakes (tres leches with caramel filling, chocolate moist with choco ganache filling, vanilla salted with caramel salted caramel filling, red velvet cram with cheese filling, ube cake/halaya with cream ‘n cheese filling, yema cake with yema filling, pandan moist cake with creame filling);
