SAN FRANCISCO, Agusan del Sur — Police in Caraga arrested four persons listed among the region’s and provinces’ most wanted individuals in separate operations across the region on Monday, Sept. 28, according to the Police Regional Office 13 (PRO 13).

PRO 13 director PBGen Rolindo M. Suguilon said the arrests involved suspects wanted for alleged sexual offenses, illegal drugs and robbery.

Sexual offenses

In Dinagat Islands, personnel of the Loreto Municipal Police Station arrested alias “Titing,” 31, ranked No. 8 on the regional most wanted list, in Purok 4, Barangay Carmen, Loreto.

Police said Titing was arrested on the strength of a warrant for eight counts of acts of lasciviousness in relation to Republic Act No. 7610, or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.

The warrant, covering Criminal Case Nos. 2979 to 2986, was issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 32 in San Jose, Surigao del Norte, on Sept. 18, 2026. Bail was set at P200,000.

In Marihatag, Surigao del Sur, police arrested alias “Amboy,” 51, ranked No. 2 on the provincial most wanted list.

The Marihatag police said Amboy was facing three warrants involving rape through sexual assault and lascivious conduct under RA 7610.

One case, for rape through sexual assault, had no recommended bail, while the other two carried recommended bail of P80,000 each. The warrants were issued by the RTC Branch 28 in Lianga, Surigao del Sur, on March 30, 2026.

Drugs, robbery

In Butuan City, personnel of Police Station 2 arrested alias “Raz,” 24, ranked No. 8 on the provincial most wanted list, in Barangay Ong Yiu.

He was arrested on a warrant for alleged violation of Section 5, Article II of RA 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. The warrant was issued by the RTC Branch 2 in Butuan City on Sept. 18, 2026.

In Surigao City, personnel of the Surigao City Component Police Station, acting on an intelligence packet from the Regional Intelligence Unit 13 in Surigao del Norte, arrested alias “Rod,” 31, ranked No. 6 on the provincial most wanted list.

Rod was arrested in Barangay Luna on a warrant for robbery with violence against or intimidation of persons. The warrant was issued by the RTC Branch 30 in Surigao City on Sept. 17, 2026, with recommended bail of P100,000.

Suguilon said the arrests reflected the regional police command’s continuing efforts to locate wanted persons through intelligence-led operations and coordination among police units.

“These arrests demonstrate PNP Caraga’s continued resolve to pursue wanted individuals and ensure that those facing criminal charges are brought before the courts,” he said.

The police chief said PRO 13 would continue intelligence-driven operations against wanted persons across the region.
