The Philippine Statistics Authority – Regional Statistical Services Office X (PSA RSSO X) joined the nationwide Handog ng Pangulo 2026: “Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat” on 14 September 2026, bringing its Civil Registration and National ID services closer to Filipinos across Northern Mindanao.

In support of the government’s simultaneous service delivery initiative, PSA X mobilized its personnel and resources across the region to provide the public with easier access to essential PSA services. The activity brought together various National Government Agencies (NGAs), Provincial Governments, and other government partners in a collective effort to deliver responsive and accessible public service directly to communities.A major highlight of PSA X’s participation was the provision of free birth certificates printed on Security Paper (SECPA) through its Civil Registration Services Outlets across Northern Mindanao in celebration of the event.

PSA X also brought Civil Registration services beyond its regular outlets through the deployment of a Mobile Civil Registration Services Outlet at the Provincial Capitol Grounds in Cagayan de Oro City. During the activity, clients were able to request and receive their free SECPA birth certificates on the spot, providing a more convenient way for the public to access their civil registry documents right at the activity venue.

Alongside Civil Registration services, PSA X strengthened its on-the-ground delivery of National ID services, with teams simultaneously deployed to 10 sites covering the five provinces of Northern Mindanao. The regional deployment allowed PSA to reach communities and serve clients beyond its regular registration centers.

National ID services provided during the activity included registration, updating and correction of demographic information, Transaction Reference Number (TRN) retrieval, assistance on the National ID in paper format, and assistance in accessing the Digital National ID through the eGovPH App, among other available services.

The simultaneous delivery of Civil Registration and National ID services demonstrated PSA X’s continuing efforts to make its services more accessible to the public. More than bringing government transactions closer geographically, the initiative provided Filipinos with opportunities to access important documents and identification services in a more convenient and accessible manner.

PSA X’s participation also complemented the services and assistance delivered by other participating government agencies and local governments under Handog ng Pangulo 2026, demonstrating a whole-of-government approach in responding to the needs of communities.

Through its Civil Registration Services Outlets, mobile service delivery, and National ID teams deployed across the region, PSA RSSO X reaffirmed its commitment to reaching more communities and bringing essential PSA services faster and closer to Filipinos.

The Authority will continue to strengthen its partnerships and explore opportunities to make its services more accessible, ensuring that no Filipino is left behind in accessing vital civil registration and identification services.
