THE Philippine Statistics Authority-Regional Statistical Services Office X (PSA-RSSO X) gathered together key stakeholders for the 2025 Agriculture and Fisheries Production Statistics Regional Data Dissemination Forum conducted in Cagayan de Oro City last August 19.
The event fostered meaningful engagement by bringing together regional line agencies, vital agri-fishery cooperatives, and media partners to ensure that transparent and timely agricultural information reaches both grassroots communities and the general public.
During the forum, PSA personnel presented the productivity data on Palay and Corn, Crops other than Palay and Corn, Livestocks and Poultry, and fisheries. While representatives from the Department of Agriculture and the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources shared vital insights and practical implications of the latest statistical results on local food security. Participants further explored how reliable data can guide cooperatives, policymakers, and media outfits in making informed decisions for sustainable farming and fishing.
Also, present during the forum were the Regional Executive Director of Department of Agriculture-X, Jose Apollo Y. Pacamalan and Regional Director of Philippine Statistic Authority-X, Janith C. Aves.
