CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 10 (PDEA-ROX) headed by Chief Atty. Benjamin G. Gaspi conducted three separate operations in Northern Mindanao for two days as part of its intensified anti-illegal drugs campaign.
PDEA-ROX Iligan with Tubod Municipal Police Station (MPS) and Police Regional Office 10 (PRO-X) on February 29, 2024 at 05:10 PM in Barangay Bulod, Tubod, Lanao del Norte arrested Julius Delliriel Awit, Sittie Naira Dida-agun Sarip and Alican Balang Sarip possessing one gram of shabu worth P3,000 and a set of three sachets weighing eleven grams costing P75,800.
In the city of Tangub, also on February 29, 2024 at 05:30 PM, PDEA Misamis Occidental Provincial Office with Tangub City Police Station (CPS) arrested in Purok 3, Barangay 3 unemployed Harold Cris Alia Abellana. Recovered are two sachets of shabu as buy-bust items and another set of eighteen sachets containing the same drug.
PDEA Misamis Oriental Provincial Office confiscated half a gram of shabu worth P500 and a staggering P68,000 of twenty one sachets from Leogene Jacobo Tumpong, Grace Micabalo Nanol, Randy Gregorio Ariola and Romel Ariola Decena in Phase 2A, Block 9, Lot 2, Villa Trinitas Subdivision, Barangay Bugo, Cagayan de Oro City.
Suspects taken into custody are charged with violation of Republic Act no. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
