CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – The inauguration of Governor Peter “Sr. Pedro” Unabia’s new public service program “Kapihan” in Balingasag, Misamis Oriental concluded productively wherein locals are guaranteed that their worries will be abraded.

Liga ng mga Barangay or ABC President Robert “Bobet” de Lara and 1st District Provincial Board Member Rey Buhisan accompanied Gov. Unabia during the launch.

In an interview with BM Buhisan, he described the inception of the program as “very effective.”

BM Buhisan explained that one of the reasons why “Kapihan” was launched in confabulating with farmers and fishermen is because of the potential of the agriculture sector in the province. Distribution of assistance to farmers is ensured as Gov. Unabia desires seeing “concrete change” in their lives.

Aside from Gov. Unabia listening to the locals’ pleas, parallel to his participatory governance, while sipping coffee in the early morning, BM Buhisan added the program’s initial launch was also for the former “to showcase plans for Misamis Oriental.”

With the success of the maiden sip of coffee, BM Buhisan “rest assured” that all needs sought, as long as necessary, will be provided.
