Lester Ian Datiles will represent the Philippines in the Under 21 Category of the World Archery Youth Championship to be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on August 16–25, 2025.
Adding to this achievement, Lester has also been invited to join the selection process for the 2025 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.
In other news, the 2025 Bangkok Barebow Asia Championship was held in Bangkok, Thailand last July 3 – 6, 2025. Participated by more than 400 archers all over Asia. The Philippines, represented by Kenneth Marlowe Adecer Tan, from Cagayan de Oro City, ranked number 7 in Barebow Mens Master’s.
The sports of Archery is getting a foothold in Cagayan de Oro.
