COTABATO CITY — Serbisyong Inklusibo Alyansang Progresibo (SIAP) Political Party President and Lanao del Sur Vice Governor Mohammad Khalid Raki-in Adiong led Thursday, April 18, 2024 the mass oath-taking of SIAP officers and members in the provinces of Maguindanao del Sur and Maguindanao del Norte held in Datu Odin Sinsuat town.
In a press conference, Adiong emphasized that SIAP Political Party is not anti-BARMM.
“We are not Anti-BARMM. We support the programs of the BARMM Government,” VG Adiong stressed.
VG Adiong said SIAP Political Party is responding to the call of Bangsamoro Chief Minister Ahod Balawag Ebrahim that all political organizations are welcome to participate in the first-ever BARMM Parliamentary Elections in 2025.
“In a democratic country like the Philippines, anyone has the right to participate in politics. We have heard your call for inclusive service and progressive alliance of our provinces towards a strong and prosperous BARMM, and hopefully we will not fail you,” he further added.
Meanwhile, Adiong thanked the leaders of the Sinsuat family for their warm welcome to the SIAP delegates from Lanao del Sur and for their support in organizing a dialogue with residents of the provinces of Maguindanao del Sur and Maguindanao del Norte, who joined the party in a ceremony conducted in Datu Odin Sinsuat.
