Project HEART Yr. 6- Gamit Eskwela at Tsinelas Handog Namin sa Inyo at Wastong Nutrisyon para sa Malusog na Kabataan Feeding Program.

Project HEART is a service project of the Rotary Club of Central Bukidnon. HEART means Help Educate and Advocate Reading Time which is currently on its 6th year . One of the clubs flagship project, Past President Felicia L. Borja was the first project chair, she introduced the concept of helping children to acquire reading skills. This Rotary Year 2023-2024 our objective is to help inspire the children and motivate them to study their lesson and pursue their dreams. Hence, the project of giving school supplies and slippers as proposed by the present project chair, Rotarian Mona Marie A. Cerdeñola was approved and included in the clubs plans, programs and activities.

Project HEART YR.6 beneficiaries were the 121 pupils of Bantal Elementary School which comprise the Kindergarten and Grade 1-3 level. However, there was a burning desire to provide more services, to include Grade 4-6 by providing a supplemental feeding to all children enrolled in Bantal Elementary School.

Last 13 September 2023, the Rotary Club of Central Bukidnon conducted the joint service project activity under Basic Education and Literacy area of focus dubbed as “Gamit Eskwela at Tsinelas Handog Namin sa Inyo”, while the Maternal and Child Health project was dubbed as, “Wastong Nutrisyon para sa Malusog na Kabataan” feeding program which catered 250 school children.

RCCB would like to extend our profound gratitude to all the project partners and sponsors especially to Mr. Dandy Batusin ALS District Coordinator of District 10, to Mr. Junie P. Flores the Elementary School Head Teacher and to the teachers of Bantal Elementary School who shared their resources, time and support.
