CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – Misamis Oriental 1st District Representative Christian S. Unabia has highlighted the province’s milestone in its stride towards economic development during the Capitol’s 14th flag raising ceremony yesterday, April 01, 2024.

Having ranked as No. 19 as most improved province out of the total 82 throughout the country, it bespeaks of economic dynamism, government efficiency, infrastructure, resiliency and innovation under the administration of Gov. Peter M. Unabia, Sr., Rep. Unabia said.

He also hailed the “unwavering dedication” as well as “innovative spirit and compassionate service” of his fellow workers in government describing the characteristics as “paramount more than ever.”

The Congressman also highlighted its centerpiece program focusing on Health, Educatation, Agriculture and Livelihood or HEAL program which was originally crafted to set the direction of battling the then COVID-19 virus and to mitigate the impact of any similar health problem of such magnitude in the future.

He added that HEAL is “very much in harmony and is part of the bigger picture of the PAGLAUM development agenda” of his father, the provincial governor.

Rep. Unabia also attributed the province’s economic dynamism to the cooperation and cohesive approach of second district Rep. Vicente Yevgeny “Bambi” Emano. “We have ensured a more cohesive approach to addressing our province’s most pressing challenges,” he said.

He also urged everyone to be united and catalysts for change as he likewise vowed to work harder in uplifting the lives of his constituents in the first district and the province in the general.
