CAMP SIONGCO, Awang, DOS, Maguindanao del Norte – Three members of the Communist Terrorist Group voluntarily surrendered to the government including their para-legal officer on Sunday night (September 24, 2023) through the 37th Infantry (Conqueror) Battalion in Barangay Tibpuan, Lebak, Sultan Kudarat. The converts carry their war gear.
The Commanding Officer of 37IB recognized that Lt. Col. John Paul Baldomar, the three alias Red, alias Michelle/Nicole/Jessa and alias Than/Melchor served as Admin/Para-Legal/Finance Officer of the waning communist terrorist. They brought two M16 rifles and a Cal. 38 Revolver.
“Based on the revelation of the former rebels, they are already struggling due to the ongoing Decisive Military Operations and lack of support from the leadership that encouraged them to join the meaningless struggle.” statement by Lt. Col. Baldomar.
Brig emphasized. Gen. Michael Santos, 603rd Infantry Brigade Commander that this is an indication of the continued decline of the communist terrorist.

Maj. has a message for the rebels. Gen. Alex Rillera, the commander of the 6th Infantry Division and Joint Task Force Central, said “Those of you who see the difference if you respond to our government’s goal of peace, you will live safely with your loved ones, so the my call to your colleagues to turn back to the government and let’s help develop our country.”
