The Ozamiz City Police Station (CPS) shone brightly at the 122nd Police Service Anniversary Celebration, receiving prestigious accolades for its exceptional performance. The event, held at the Asenso Misamis Occidental Cultural and Sports Center in Oroquieta City, was attended by distinguished guests, including Regional Director PBGEN LAWRENCE B COOP, who served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.
Under the guidance of Station Chief P/Major Dennis P. Tano, Ozamiz CPS was recognized as the “Best Police Station” for its outstanding contributions to maintaining peace and security in the city. Their dedication and hard work were evident in the significant reduction of crime rates and the continuous enhancement of community relations.
In addition to the station’s success, two exceptional officers were acknowledged for their exceptional contributions. PCPT Elwood K. Malanog received the title of “Best Junior PCO for Operations,” while PSSGT Bryan T. Mirafuentes was named “Best Junior PNCO for Operations.” Their commitment to ensuring the safety and welfare of Ozamiz residents has been instrumental in the city’s continued progress.
