A remarkable chapter in the municipality’s history was etched as Mayor Gadwin Handumon delivered his inaugural State of the Municipal Address (SOMA), highlighting a year of resounding accomplishments that have resonated with both local leaders and the community at large. The SOMA, held at the Municipal Covered Court on August 18, drew a distinguished audience, including Governor Henry S. Oaminal, 1st District Rep. Jason Almonte, Vice Governor Rowena Gutierrez, Board Members, Local Chief Executives (LCEs), and representatives from various provincial line agencies.
Mayor Handumon’s SOMA encapsulated a vision of progress and collaboration, with the first year of his tenure marked by a series of impressive milestones. Reflecting on his inauguration, he emphasized the alignment between Plaridel’s aspirations and the developmental thrust of Governor Oaminal and the Provincial Government of Misamisnon Magpuyong Malinawon, Malambuon ug Malipayon.
