The regional office of 10 the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board has recently organized the Driver’s Academy seminar, an educational event aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of public utility vehicle (PUV) drivers.
This program covered various important topics such as road policies and road safety, allowing the participants to learn and apply their newfound knowledge in their profession.
A total of 101 PUV drivers actively participated in the seminar, with 47 drivers attending on July 12 and 54 drivers on July 13. The event took place at the LTFRB 10 office in Brgy. Bulua, Cagayan de Oro City.
Along with focusing on enhancing their driving skills, the seminar also addresses the importance of responsible driving behaviors, emphasizing the need for respect towards fellow road users and the environment. By attending this program, drivers can improve their driving abilities, become more aware of potential risks on the road, and ultimately contribute to safer and more sustainable public transportation.
