MANILA, 07 April 2025 — Department of Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon has lauded the the Liga ng Transportasyon at Operators ng Pilipinas (LTOP) in leading the campaign for road safety and discipline among drivers nationwide.
LTOP has issued the 2025 edition of “Pagbabago ng Pinoy Driver, Gabay sa Ligtas ng Pagmamaneho” in support of President Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos’ call “Ang Bagong Pilipino ay Disiplinado”.
In an undated DOTr statement, Dizon has noted well the need to instill into the minds of motorists that discipline, respect and consideration must always be present among road users to uphold at all times the rights and privileges of all —motorists and pedestrians alike.
“By following these rules of road safety and discipline, manhours are saved ensuring productivity in the workplace, professionalism among drivers are enhanced, and livelihood improved”, Dizon said.
LTOP National President Orlando Marquez has issued the 2025 LTOP Road Safety and Discipline Manual to serve as guidepost to all motorists as bearers of professional drivers’ licenses.
LTOP Foundation Inc is moving forward as lead convenor in the campaign for the uplift of the transport sector as leading contributor of economic progress under the ‘Bagong Pilipinas’ movement of the PBBM administration.
