BM Emano on the said duration is authorized on the signing of “vouchers, payrolls, checks, leaves, procurement papers, travels of officials and employees within the province, representation in conferences and ceremonial functions and other routinary matters.” However, matters “considered policy determining shall be held in abeyance.”

In an interview with Mindanao Daily, BM Emano displayed delight in being the proxy of Vice Gov. Pelaez adding that it is also a good opportunity to be familiar with the latter’s tasks.

After the weekly flag raising ceremony in the Misamis Oriental Provincial Capitol grounds on the morning of Monday, April 22, BM Emano shared that she accommodated the officials of Libertad and handed sets of fiber glass, two wheelchairs, traffic vests, nebulizers and other items requested by the party days before from the office of Vice Gov. Pelaez. BM Emano also briefly reminisced the moments during their campaign.

BM Emano is setting to announce on her official social media account this delegated task vowing to do her best as always from her own initiatives – especially her advocacy for persons with disability (PWDs) – to continuing the projects of Vice Gov. Pelaez.

Words of appreciation for the trust bestowed were expressed by BM Emano to Vice Gov. Pelaez. She also extended thankfulness to Gov. Peter “Sr. Pedro” M. Unabia for the opportunity though she is, as she said, “sa lain koral (in a different fence).”

BM Emano said she chose to show her support to the Office of the Vice Governor as well as its needs to keep its mandate and that she felt her obligation to the people of the province.
