Asenso Misamis Occidental Distributes Educational Cash Assistance to Another Batch of Young Ozamiznons

In a collaborative initiative between Asenso Misamis Occidental, Asenso Segundo Distrito, and Padayon Asenso Ozamiz Administration, 200 deserving scholars have been selected to receive educational cash assistance to support their academic pursuits. The program, aimed at uplifting the educational prospects of the youth, is a testament to the commitment of local leaders to invest in the future of Misamis Occidental.

This educational assistance endeavor, benefiting a total of 1,200 scholars, is made possible through the generous contributions of key figures in the region. Governor Henry Sevilla Oaminal allocated 600 slots, Mayor Indy Oaminal provided 400 slots, and Cong Ando Oaminal extended the opportunity to 200 individuals, ensuring that a broad spectrum of the community is supported.

Each beneficiary will receive a substantial sum of 5,000 pesos per month, amounting to a total of 25,000 pesos for the entire semester. This financial assistance is expected to alleviate the financial burden on students and their families, allowing them to focus on their studies without the worry of financial constraints.

Vice Mayor Bebe Neri, who was present at the program’s launch, stressed the importance of this cash assistance program in helping students achieve their academic goals. She encouraged the beneficiaries to use this support wisely and work diligently towards their educational aspirations.

Mayor Indy Oaminal expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Governor Henry Oaminal and Cong Ando Oaminal for their joint commitment to this program. He also acknowledged the support of the Ozamiz City Council, led by Vice Mayor Bebe Neri, for their unwavering dedication to the cause.

Mayor Indy Oaminal further challenged the grantees to put in their best efforts in their studies, emphasizing that their dedication would be rewarded not only for one semester but until their graduation. He urged them to remain focused and determined, assuring them that their hard work would be met with continued support.

As this initiative unfolds, it exemplifies the unity and dedication of local leaders in Misamis Occidental towards nurturing the next generation of scholars. With this educational cash assistance, the future looks brighter for these batch of beneficiaries who now have the financial support they need to pursue their dreams.
