The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), through its Regional Statistical Services Office X (RSSO X) and Provincial Statistical Offices (PSOs), continues to strengthen its partnership with the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) to make National ID registration more accessible and convenient for individuals across Northern Mindanao.
Through this partnership, PSA National ID registration services are made available at designated PhilHealth offices and co-location sites, allowing PhilHealth members, beneficiaries, employees, and other interested individuals to conveniently register for the National ID while accessing PhilHealth services.
The collaboration is anchored on the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between PSA and PhilHealth, which establishes a coordinated arrangement for providing National ID registration services in selected PhilHealth branches and outlets. Under the agreement, PSA provides registration personnel and equipment, facilitates the registration process, receives documentary requirements, responds to public inquiries, and disseminates information about the National ID program. Meanwhile, PhilHealth provides the necessary space and facilities to accommodate registration activities within its designated offices.
This initiative aims to expand access to government services, encourage unregistered individuals to register for the National ID, and promote greater public awareness of the importance of having a recognized and verifiable identity. By bringing registration services closer to communities, the partnership helps reduce the need for individuals to visit separate government offices to access these services.
EXPANDING ACCESS THROUGH CO-LOCATION SERVICES
In Bukidnon, National ID registration services are available every Monday at the AG Global Business Center along Sayre Highway, Purok 13-A, Barangay Poblacion, Valencia City.
In Lanao del Norte, registration services are conducted every Monday and Friday at the Ground Floor of Gonzales-Gimeno Building 4, Macapagal Avenue, Tubod, Iligan City.
Meanwhile, the PSA Provincial Statistical Office of Misamis Occidental, in coordination with PhilHealth, is set to bring National ID registration services to more communities through upcoming activities in Ozamiz City. Registration activities are scheduled on November 10, 2026, at Misamis University, H.T. Feliciano Street, Barangay Aguada, and on November 19 and 27, 2026, at Medina College, Maningcol.
The public, particularly those who have not yet registered for the National ID, is encouraged to take advantage of these scheduled activities and avail themselves of the registration services at the designated locations.
Through strengthened inter-agency collaboration, PSA and PhilHealth reaffirm their shared commitment to bringing essential government services closer to the Filipino people and ensuring that more individuals have access to an inclusive, accessible, and reliable national identification system.
