THE City Council’s Committee on Games and Amusement, chaired by Councilor Moreno ‘Jing’ Daba IV, conducted an ocular inspection on the proposed site of AB Leisure Exponent, Inc. (an operator of BingoPlus) on the second floor of Robinsons Mall in Barangay 31, Lapasan on Monday, July 13.
The inspection was in line with the committee’s earlier resolution during its July 3 hearing, when members agreed to personally assess the location before making recommendations on the company’s request to establish and operate a PAGCOR-authorized gaming facility in the city.
During the site visit, committee members inspected the proposed gaming area and discussed operational and regulatory considerations relevant to the application.
Also present were Committee Vice Chair Councilor Al Legaspi Sr. and committee members Councilors Paolo Gaane and Gigi Go, who joined the inspection as part of the committee’s continuing review of the proposal before submitting its recommendations to the City Council.
