LAND Transporation Office (LTO) 10 director Nelson Manaloto assured the public Friday that all enforcers in their regional office are trained to be professional in dealing with motorists while on duty.
“This has been an ongoing standing order since I assumed office here in 2018. Walang nagbago,” Manaloto said.
The LTO 10 director expressed his thought when sought comment on the recent controversial arrest of more than half a dozen LTO enforcers from nearby Caraga.
“Sa totoo lang, it was the assistant secretary mismo who coordinated with the local police to do the entrapment dahil merong nag-report sa kanya,” Manaloto revealed even as he said that all suspected wrongdoings by LTO employees nationwide are immediately acted upon by the LTO central office led by Assistant Secretary Markus Lacanilao.
Here in Northern Mindanao, Manaloto is highly encouraging the public to report any wrongdoing by LTO 10 employees to his office.
“I will act on it immediately. Pag JO (job order), tanggal agad if the investigation proves. Pag regular employee, i-suspend natin,” he said.
Manaloto reiterated that the purpose of enforcement along the road is to ensure that each vehicle is roadworthy and safe for the riding public.
