CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: Deputy House Speaker Yevgeny Vincente “Bambi” Emano filed House Bill
7679 aimed to providing education funds for children of farmers and fishermen.

DS Emano, of the Second Congressional District of Misamis Oriental, admitted that the farmers and fishermen belonged to the society’s marginalized sector in the country.

The proposed bill HB 7679 is an act that could provide educational assistance for the children and dependents of farmers and fishermen.

The bill also aims to harmonize the existing social protection and educational subsidy programs of the government

The passage of bill assures the children of the farmers and fishermen to pursue college education and a stable career in the future.

Emano said that he filed the bill in response to the clamor of the farmers and fishermen who longed a legislation that could provide educational assistance for their children.

“The alleviation of the marginal sectors in our society is the primary mission as a legislator and as a public servant,” Emano, President of Padayon Pilipino (Filipino Move on), an accredited regional political party catering to the needs of the poor.
