Misamis Oriental Governor Juliette Uy has expressed her full support for the various activities of the Department of Education (DepEd) in the province. This was announced during a meeting between the governor and DepEd-Division of Misamis Oriental Superintendent Dr. Edilberto L. Oplenaria on September 1.
Dr. Oplenaria shared that Governor Uy has initially agreed to support the division’s proposed activities, including the Division Schools Press Conference, Division Festival of Talents, and Division Sports Competition or Division Meet. These events require extensive preparation and resources, and the governor’s support will undoubtedly contribute to their success.
One of the initiatives that Governor Uy has pledged to support is the enhancement of reading programs for children. This move aligns with her commitment to improving education in the province and empowering the youth.
