Transportation has long been a challenge for students traveling from remote areas to educational institutions. Many students face financial hardship paying transportation bills which often hinder their access to education. In recognition of this issue, Congressman Christian and Governor Pete have taken a proactive step by launching the Free Ride program. By offering free transportation to students, the program not only alleviates students' financial burden but also promotes higher attendance rates, on-time, and overall academic performance.
