Davao City, May 17, 2024 — The Waterfront Hotel has opened its fifth “Beautiful Beginnings” weddings and events fair today, which will continue until May 19. The event brings together over 20 local event suppliers in the Grand Agila Ballroom.
“Beautiful Beginnings” serves as a comprehensive platform for organizing major events such as weddings and large celebrations. The event is open to the public without an entrance fee.
This year, the fair features the “FLORA Circle of Events’ Stylists,” with local professionals like Veejay Salonga of Decoratives by Janna and Hercs, and Noel Tanza of Golden Touch, aiming to enhance event aesthetics.
The Waterfront Culinary Team is introducing “Hain,” a new dining concept that combines traditional flavors with modern cooking methods. This marks the fair’s first major food tasting. Each dish tells a story of an enhancing dining experience, Waterfront Culinary Team touches guests where passions can take.
A portion of the fair’s proceeds will go to the House of Hope, which supports children with cancer. Waterfront is known for its corporate social responsibility creating countless memories bound for a lifetime of commitment.
The event will conclude with fashion shows, featuring the “Insulares” by Seasons by Love & Styles, Christina Yip and the “Renee Salud Collection,” displaying custom designs for special occasions and others. Notable participants include Jessie Maloles and Lou Neria Putian, CEO of SY Glow, who will showcase their designs.
