CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: A 66-year-old fugitive facing a string of criminal cases voluntarily surrendered to the Bukidnon police Sunday, a report reaching here said on Monday.
P/Col. Jun Mark J. Lagare, provincial police director of Bukidnon identified the suspect as Flaviano Camanyan y Sistoso, 66, a farmer resident of Sitio Nasandigan of Kalabugao village in Impasug ong, Bukidnon.
Lagare said that Camanyan was a top fugitive facing multiple criminal charges involving the crime of Arson, Multiple Attempted Murder, Frustrated Murder and Illegal Possession of Explosive.
He said that the suspect was listed as the number three wanted person in Impasug- ong with an arrest order issued by the regional trial court of Malaybalay City, Bukidnon on August 20, 2019, with s recommended bail amounting to ₱840,000.00 and no bail for the illegal possession of explosive.
According to Lagare, the suspect surrendered voluntarily Sunday morning, which also formally served the execution of the arrest warrant. -0-
