Camp Siongco, Awang, DOS, Maguindanao del Norte – Two Dawlah Islamiya Socsargen Khatiba Group wanted for the case of Frustrated Murder were caught in the hands of the law this early morning of Wednesday (November 30, 2022).
This was after the joint AFP-PNP law enforcement operation was launched in Ward 2, Glamang, Polomolok, South Cotabato targeting Jerry Pandian, 44-years-old and Yeb Salela, 18-years-old both residents of the said area.
That’s what Lt. Col. Carlyleo Nagac, Battalion Commander of the 5th Special Forces Battalion filed the Search and Arrest Warrants signed by the Judge at the Regional Trial Court, 11th Judicial Region, Branch 63, Polomolok, South Cotabato.
“One (1) Pistol Cal. was recovered from the suspects. 45 M1911A1, one (1) Magazine of cal.45, five (5) bullets of cal. 45, one (1) Unit of 5.56 mm Single Shot Pistol, one (1) live ammunition of Single Shot Pistol 5.56mm, one (1) 9 Volts battery, one (1) piece Improvised Switches Fulltype, one (1) Blasting Cap , one (1) Container, one (1) Detonation Cord, 71 pieces of Enhancer, one (1) Wire Initiator (Color Black) and one (1) Wire Initiator (Color Red)”, according to Lt. Col. Nagac.
The Joint Task Force Central and 6th Infantry Division Commander, Major General Roy Galido, commended the 5SFBn for their continued dedication to support law enforcement operations in Central and South-Central Mindanao to hunt down law breakers.
“”Keep it up, keep it going. Let’s help our counterpart in the PNP in law enforcement with the Local Government Unit in South Cotabato to keep the community safe from any threat”, according to Maj. Gen. Galido.
