HomeThe RegionNorthern MindanaoTURNING POINT: SONA 4: I failed

NAAWAN, Misamis Oriental (MindaNews / 23 July) – Instead of asserting, as promised, the country’s sovereign right in West Philippine Sea, the President plunged into an ingratiating diplomacy to Chinese aggression.
Despite the iron fist approach and the PNP official tally of 6,600 deaths, the illegal drugs continue to proliferate and the problem remains dumbfounding and menacing, arousing interest worldwide.
Despite the placement of his choice men in graft-ridden agencies and offices, like the Bureau of Customs, corruption is more alive than ever.
 ENDO has not ended.
The prices of commodities are still up.
Marawi remains a pile of rubbles two years after the end of the siege.
Three years at the helm, the President admitted, without explicitly saying it, that he failed to deliver.
Three more years. He promised. We hope.
