Supporters of senatorial hopeful Samira Gutoc holds rally in Iligan

Supporters of senatorial hopeful Samira Gutoc spearheaded a rally in Iligan City during her visit in the "Industrial City" of the south.

Iligan City is host to industries like steel, tin plate, cement and flour mills powered by the hydroelectric power plant feed by the famous Maria Cristina Waterfalls. 

The HIGAONON  tribal group are believed to be the first settlers in Iligan. In 2015, Iligan posted P19-B  revenue. 

The "AksyonDemokratiko"  is pushing for more economic activities in Mindanao given the natural resources in including energy resource. Samira Gutoc fully supports these programs and, if elected Senator, will enact laws benefitting the most vulnerable sectors. - PR Dee Paredes
