STRONG TORNADOÂ
ESPERANZA, Agusan del Sur – A strong tornado hit San Toribio, Ezperanza, this province on Wednesday afternoon and destroyed 10 houses, a report reaching MDNN News said.
No one was reported hurt in the several minutes of Tornado attack but house roofings flew and several houses were completely toppled down by strong winds.
The local government of Esperanza town has yet to account on the actual and extent of damage of the reported houses made of light materials.
It was not reported, however, where those victims were accommodated after their houses have been completely destroyed by the strong tornado.
The local social services office has not also reported yet how many total families were affected by the said phenomenon that seldom happens only in Mindanao and elsewhere in the country.
