MDN INTERNATIONAL – A Youtuber’s act of kindness goes viral all over world when he sponsored the surgery of 1,000 cataract patients in many countries his team has chosen.
Contrary to scary brand name as Mr Beast, which has now over 130 million subscribers, 24-year-old Jimmy Donaldson or most popularly known in Youtube as Mr Beast, has also a golden heart for people in need of help.
Recently, Mr Beast has been roaming around the world to see blind people and paying for their cataract removal.
“We’re curing a thousand people’s blindness,” said MrBeast, or Jimmy Donaldson in real life, in his post on YouTube with the title “1,000 Blind People See For The First Time.”
In this video, you can see and watch heart warming before-and-after video clips of people who benefitted from his act of kindness.
Aside from their FREE eye surgeries, Mr Beast also donated sums of money amounting to $10,000 up to $50,000 to deserving patients who have very touching stories.
HOW THE PROJECT STARTED?
MrBeast, reports said, contacted Dr Jeff Levenson, ophthalmologist to make this worthwhile and very impressive project of the vlogger. Then, the first round of eye surgeries and cataract removals made its debut in Jacksonville, Florida in October last year.
It started with 40 patients but the list tremendously increased when Dr Levenson connected MrBeast to a non-profit organization identified as SEE International.
“If MrBeast can light a fire, and if we can get governmental and private support behind it, we can end half of all the blindness in the world,” Levenson is quoted as saying.
“Without all that much cost, and with incredible gains in human productivity and human potential.”
The Youtube start first got noticed with his expensive stunts but in the later part of his career he shifted into philanthropy.
Right now, the Youtube sensation has over 130 million subscribers and has already overtaken PewDiePie, the number 1 and long time Youtube Star in the world.
