In support to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) developed by the United Nations General Assembly, the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Kapatagan in Lanao del Norte is set to intensify its efforts in addressing and adapting to climate change.
During the Network Briefing today, SK President Marian Jule Cedeño shared their plans in support of SDG 13 which is climate action.
“Iyong project is backyard gardening para matugunan ang gutom sa pangmatagalang pandemic,” she said.

The SK president also emphasized that the project can help hasten the huge volume of wastes produced in their municipality.
Cedeño also encouraged her fellow youth to take part in addressing issues in their community.
“Sa mga kabataan, magtulungan tayo. If you have good ideas, pwede magshare sa isa’t-isa para sa pagtugon sa issues and concerns,” she said.
