𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐆𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍. Unayan District Hospital former Chief of Hospital Dra. Raquelina A. Benito brings pride and honor to Lanao del Sur and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) following her recent recognition as one of the eight awardees of “The Outstanding Filipino Physicians” for the year 2023 (TOFP 2023) by the Philippine Medical Association (PMA) and Junior Chamber International (JCI) Senate Philippines, in an awarding ceremony held last January 25, 2024 at the Malolos Sports and Convention Center in Malolos, Bulacan.
Dra. Benito was joined here by fellow TOFP awardees together with guest speaker Senator Joseph Victor Ejercito, PMA and JCI – Senate top officials.
Dra. Benito’s dedication to the field of Medicine and her excellent service for decades as Hospital Chief of Unayan District Hospital contributed to the upliftment of the standards of healthcare and quality of life in Lanao del Sur, particularly in the Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDA) of the province.
