Senatoriable Bong Go in Cagayan de Oro: Supporters join his ‘dramatic lunch date’ inside Cogon Public Market

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY (April 11) – Senatorial aspirant and former special assistant to the president, Bong Go has stopped by in this city as part of his campaign sorties all over Mindanao.

Go met with his political leaders during his stay, had him paraded by his political leaders in the main thoroughfares of the city and also scheduled a special lunch date inside the Cogon public market, a very typical activity of former president Joseph Estrada.

Go was also joined by action stars Robin Padilla and Philip Salvador, both strong supporters President Rodrigo Duterte. Thousands of Go's political movers and supporters in Cagayan de Oro also joined the parade which started from Limketkai Drive up to Cogon Public Market  

At Aling Violy's Carenderia inside the Cogon Public Market, Go had his lunch. He picked his favorite "humba" and several other Filipino food. Afterwhich he proceeded to a jampacked crowd of supporters at Carmen Public Market and then proceeded to Marawi City via his private plane to also catch up a proclamation rally of PDP Laban in Lanao del Norte.

In an ambush interview inside the Cogon public market, Go said he has already listed several worthwhile projects for Mindanao once he is elected senator of the country. This includes a modern railway connecting the whole island of Mindanao, which has been a long dream of many Mindanaonons, and all other pro-poor projects he mentioned during the interview.

On April 13,2019, Go also went to Bukidnon Province and joined the merrymaking of Kaamulan Festival. There, he was also joined by President Duterte, partymate senatoriables, and local slates supported by the province's political kingpin, Jose Ma Zubiri and his family of politicians.
