Marcelito Pomoy, grand winner of “Pilipinas Got Talent” second edition, has expressed his sympathy to the untimely demise of his bosom friend Jovit Baldivino, he called “parekoy.”
His friend, the late Jovit Baldivino, became the first grand winner of the said singing reality show franchised by TV giant Abs Cbn.
Pomoy said Jovit was the first friend who supported all the way during his quest for the season 2 crown of the reality show Pilipinas Got Talent.
In his instagram post, Pomoy wrote with crying emojis ““Sobrang sakit Parekoy!”
The PGT Season 2 grand winner also showed instagram photos of his visit to the wake of Jovit Baldivino.
“Pinipilit ka pa naming kausapin at gisingin baka magmilagro pa,” Pomoy said.
Untimely death
Jovit Baldivino recently died of aneurysm at a very young age of 29 at the Jesus of Nazareth Hospital in Batangas where he was confined after he had a mild stroke.
On Sunday night, December 4, Baldivino attended a family Christmas party as per invitation by a friend whom his close relatives did not identify.
During the said Christmas party, the singer reportedly sang three of his signature songs, including “Faithfully” by Journey.
After an hour he was seen by friends sitting in a chair and experiencing a mild stroke. His face showed deformity with his saliva coming out from his mouth.
Baldivino was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital where he was declared comatose for 5 days by his attending physicians.The PGT grand winner joined his Creator at around 4 a.m early dawn on Friday, December 9, this year.
What is Aneurysm ?
In a recent press briefing, DOH Officer-in-Charge Maria Rosario Vergeire explained that aneurysm is a condition in which the arteries of a person weaken. He said that arteries carry oxygen-rich blood from the heart to the different parts of the human body.
Vergeire also said that aneurysms can develop in the heart, abdomen and legs.
“Most of these aneurysms are unreported or undocumented kasi usually ‘pag dumating sa ospital, it’s already at that late stage hindi na nakakagawa ng scanning na kailangan to confirm that it is really aneurysm,” the DOH top official said.
