BARMM Region – To showcase the ‘hidden treasures of the region, the Ministry of Trade, Investments, and Tourism – Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (MTIT-BARMM) recently launched a regionwide photo contest.
According to the contest organizing committee, headed by MTIT -BARMM Minister Abuamri Taddik, the contest is open to all interested photographers across the region.
He said the photography contest has already started on Tuesday, August 10, and will run until September 20, this year.
Taddik said the entries of the contest must depict on community-based economic sites and activities, social enterprise, gastronomies, eco-tourism, and adventure tourism, sun, beach, diving and marine sports tourism, cultural, religious, historical parks and landmarks, meeting, incentives, conferences, and events.
The organizers has also encouraged participation of the youth to effectively showcase the culture and historical events of the Moro people through photography.
“Let us support this endeavor for them to see BARMM not only here but across the globe, if possible,” Taddik said.
P15,000 awaits the first prize winner; P10,000 for the 2nd prize winner; and P5,000 for the third prize winner. There will be a P3,000 each additional incentive for five consolation prizes.
