CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – As Rotary International District 3870 Governor-elect Gilda “Gigi” Go continues to search for outstanding Rotarians to complete her team for Rotary Year 2023-2024, this time she chose a Rotarian from the Rotary Club of East Urban, an all women Rotary club in this city.
“Meet PAG ELLA YU, District 3870’s PHILIPPINE ROTARY MEDIA REPRESENTATIVE for 2023-2024. She is a banker by profession and a member of the Rotary Club of East Urban, an all-women Rotary Club,” DGE Go said as she welcomed Rtn Ella Yu as a new addition to her team.
As a representative to the Philippine Rotary media, Rtn Yu is expected to update the district in the monthly updates of the regional magazine. The prescribed regional magazine for the Philippines is the Philippine Rotary Magazine.
More than half of Rotarians worldwide receive a regional magazine instead of Rotary magazine. These publications are produced independently by Rotarians, distributed in more than 130 countries, and published in 24 languages. They have a combined circulation of 872,000. Each magazine has a regional point of view but also includes articles and photographs of international interest from Rotary magazine.
