Director Eugene Pabualan of the Office of Transportation Cooperatives (OTC) has urged transport groups to register with Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) and also get accreditation from OTC.
Dir Pabualan said these two requirements are very important for transport coops to get franchise from the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).
Dir Pabualan echoed these requirements during the dialogue regarding the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program that will be fully implemented in June, this year.
Meanwhile, Rodger Zerna, Coop Program Coordinator of the Community Improvement Division (CID) said that their office is ready facilitate all coops planning to register with CDA and also get accrediation from OTC.
Zerna said Capability development trainings are also in place to guide all transport coops what to do following the PUV-MP guidelines.
For his part, Mr Oliver Egypto, acting city administrator and Head, Office for Community Affairs said that teamwork is the key to success for every organization and also pledge to support whatever project of the administration of Mayor Oscar S. Moreno.
